Wild At Heart Board

  • Sarah Jacob

    CHAIR

Sarah is a vocalist, composer, writer and sound artist. She works at the intersection of organic and electronic sound and her experimental music uses soundscapes to sonically represent mental and emotional states as she documents her journey through life and society as a neurodivergent woman. She is a passionate advocate for human rights and promoter of a greater understanding of those living with disability and mental ill health. Sarah studied music production at Collarts and was selected to participate in Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio’s Professional Development program. As a member of the Wild at Heart community she has performed at and assisted in the running of music events, including the Unmuted Festival and Resonate Songwriters Fest. She has performed in numerous acoustic and acapella duos, multicultural, soul and heavy metal/rock choirs, singing soprano and alto as a soloist and quartet member.
