Her Story - Women's performance event

  • Open Studio 204 High Street Northcote, VIC, 3070 Australia (map)

'Her Story' is a celebration of diverse perspectives, an ode to voices that diverge from traditional social norms, and are often overshadowed by patriarchal narratives. Many of our talented artists also experience the barriers of living with disability, chronic illness, and neurodivergence – voices historically underestimated, underrepresented and marginalized throughout history.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 4th, and make your way to Open Studio for a dynamic afternoon of live music, dedicated to amplifying the raw and heartfelt stories of female, trans, and non-binary artists supported by Wild At Heart Community Arts.

Showcasing a stellar lineup of artists, including Saint Ergo, Jen Frank, Alice Gartner, Minky Lush, Sage, Vashti Sivell, Tamara Issa, and a host of emerging talents, as they unleash their creative energy through song and poetry. They are not merely performers but storytellers, new brooms, and true creators. Together, they will take to the stage, take up space, and breathe life into the pages of 'Her Story.'

Join us for a night that promises to challenge the conventions of live music performance and leave a lasting impact for chapters to come. 'Her Story' is more than an event; it's a revolution of voices, stories, and experiences that deserve the attention of a wildly receptive audience!

Cost: Free or by donation. Tickets available via EventBrite and on the door.
