In person workshop
The hip hop program runs every Thursday from 10am to 2 pm at WAH’s office/studio at the Meat Market, North Melbourne.
It’s a hands-on experience focused on writing lyrics and raps and creating beats and recording with our talented producer facilitator. Workshops also offer music video making, releasing music professionally, performances at open mics, industry and community events and WAH events. There are also opportunities for one-on-one mentoring with our experienced artists.
Our ultimate goal is to support our hip hop artists to achieve their creative ambitions.
The hip hop workshops are a welcoming, inclusive and accessible space where artists can come together and belong to a community that fosters their skills and talents in hip hop.
