Inkrewsive hip hop is an inclusive and accessible program for artists to develop their raps, beats, dance, recording, freestylin’ and gigging.

The Inkrewsive hip hop collective is a welcoming and inclusive community of rap artists, producers, dancers and more who live with disability.

You can find your creative voice and speak your truth while making friends and reaching your artistic and participation goals in rap, beats, dance, recording, freestylin’ and taking part in the Melbourne hip hop community. 

Whether you’re just starting out, getting back into the rap game or want to take things to a higher level, Inkrewsive will be there to nurture and support your creative journey.

The program runs every Thursday from 10am to 2 pm at WAH’s office/studio at the Meat Market, North Melbourne. Weekly workshops facilitated by experienced hip hop artists include rap writing, beat making, recording skills, busking, video making.

Regular guest professional hip hop artists share their creative and career experiences. Group busking trips to the local streets help build self confidence, rap skills and public performance.

Inkrewsive also offers an individual mentoring program on Thursdays and at other negotiated times during the week, where you can work with professional rap artists, producers, video makers to build your skills and create your own original hip hop material. Mentors also support participants to take part in open mic events and gigs in the Melbourne hip hop community.

Payment Options:

NDIS

If you have an eligible NDIS Plan you will need to use this to pay for your participation. Your Plan will be charged at NDIS Price Guide rates, or if self managed at a negotiated rate, for the hours of support provided. We usually charge your Core budget under Community Participation support item codes, but can also charge your Capacity Building budget if there’s funding available.

Non NDIS

 If you are not NDIS funded and have no other funded support, a session or term based cash fee will be negotiated.
