5 WEEK SONGWRITING WORKSHOP SERIES WITH STELLA DONNELLY!

In-person at Sol Green Community Centre, Cnr Montague St &, Coventry St, South Melbourne OR online.


Nationally renowned singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly is known for her inviting charm, razor-sharp wit, and authentically raw songs,. Stella will provide workshop participants with a wealth of guidance and inspiration informed by her career as a professional songwriter.

WORKSHOP #2 WRITE A FEMINIST ANTHEM

Compose a song that speaks to your experiences in a male dominated world, exploring themes of empowerment, celebration and frustration. Learn from some of Stella’s favourite feminist songwriting, whether it takes the form of a cheeky pop affirmation, a furious punk statement, or a solemn ballad. This workshop is open to all genders, and men are encouraged to write about women they admire or their experiences navigating masculinity.


*STRICTLY LIMITED TO 20 PEOPLE PER SESSION*
